I used to get a pop-up everytime I logged into the site and there was a new personal message in the inbox. I've missed a couple of messages lately because I didn't get this pop-up (I don't get a whole lot of messages). I checked my settings - it seems I should have the proper things turned on. Anybody else experiencing this?

/Stefan

two things:

1) check your browser's pop up blocker.
2) check your profile, have you disabled/enabled popup notifications?

Ah thanks. Pop-ups are allowed in my profile, and I've never bothered with any pop-up blocker, but I've started using Chrome more lately. My guess is that Chrome suppresses the pop-ups in some way that I have a hard time detecting (I'm used to getting a warning that "the site wants to open a pop-up window, do you want to allow", so that one I wouldn't miss, I think). I'll check the settings in Chrome later (using Safari right now).

OK, I just got a pop-up in Safari. It's probably some setting in Chrome (which I use to browse electro-music.com at work). Sorry for the false alarm.
