With luck a squirrel will go after the feeders here, and then our dogs can break into a rousing chorus of, "Stop that f***ing squirrel!" | I love it!!!! |

Steve | I have posted the 6 June 2011 rehearsal at http://www.e-univercity.com/OYW/06_06_2011_1.flac if anyone wants to listen and extract samples for their own use. It is a 2 hour session, took 3 hours to upload, 17 minutes to download. There are various birds throughout, screen door squeaking on 2 or 3 occasions, and a dog (or dogs) barking towards the end.
If anyone finds a particular section noteworthy, please let me know the starting time and approximate duration and I can post and preserve those sections. I am not sure I will keep the whole thing.

I might have a go at this, depending if the sounds out my window are loud enough for my mic to pick up _________________ Jez

I would like to suggest to those that have the bandwidth to spare, that adding a videocam of YOUR "out your window" stream would really be a cool addition to this project.
We can use this forum and the chatroom for the links to the cams on the day of. _________________ ElectroCasa |

Sounds like fun, I'll go for it.
There's a damn mockingbird that sits on an antenna next door, a real sleep-destroyed. Why not expose the world to his awful Majesty. |

I am going to attempt to stream a locale on the property here that's popular with all the birds... But what time's the best for this as far as the rest of us are concerned?
In addition I wondered about playing some acoustic guitar in the background. Or is this averse to the concept? _________________ Stephen Goodman

request for OYW streamers |
|
|
a request since I'll be sub-mixing (and there will probably be others too).
Try to get a good level if possible, I can add some gain but only so much,..
And pay some attention to what you're streaming, since with multiple
streams all having outside noises it can be hard to determine where a
possible unwanted sound is coming from. thank you,..
I'm looking forward to it! _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"
