BTW
The heat test won't really show much untill they all start drawing various amounts of current.
You could do some testing with some 10W resistors as dummy loads, but don't stress the regs too much. Remember that increasing the load on the 5V stresses 3 regulators.

Hiya Smile)) Just thought I'd say, Tested the power on a stripboard of Thomas Henry's linear VCO ( +/- 12V) and the stripboard of a baby 10 sequencer ( 8 steps in fact) on the 5V supply. Worked a treat. No worrying drops now. 78xx Regulators screwed to the case and slightly warm but not worryingly so..) and seems greeeeaat. Smile)
