I need to take the power supply/transformer board thingy out of my G2 to get some 'o' rings under the mounting points in order to reduce a casing hum. I've got the case open and all the screws out of the PCB and the plug socket but the unit doesn't come free. It's loose but seems to be
caught on something underneath at the rear, between the power socket and the fuse tube.

Can anyone help?

tim

You've reached the world with your question, saw it on the NM list as well, if anyone would know you'd have had a response by now I'd think :-)

Ok, into wild guessing mode :

Is there a hidden screw behind a label maybe ?

Or something on the bottom side ?

I noted that on my engines the power connector itself has some screws - did you think on those ?

Tried to ask Clavia ?

Jan.

I love how installing the expansion board yourself voids the warranty. Only an authorized service person should do it. And I'm sure they'd appreciate the easy, layman's-terms instructions that are included, too. Heh, how many of us are authorized or took our G2s to authorized persons? Rolling Eyes
