The PSU in my G2X is making quite a lot of acoustic noise. Always has been. Much worse than any other machine I have.

I believe I've read about replacing it.
Anyone who has tried this sucessfully. I belive Clavia will charge a lot to do that.

Since you live in Sweden, I'd give Clavia a call and see what they suggest.

For folks in the USA, this is the distributor/support company. They are very good about talking to you on the phone if you want to try to fix things yourself. At least that is my experience.

As in when you put in a new PSU it'll likely do the exact same thing.

Not all G2X's do that, Jan. There must be something that can be done. No?

Do you think the G2X and G2 keyboard have different PSUs? I don't think so. Mine is 50hz too and doesn't make any noise. I have had 2 G2 keyboard and one Engine and never encountered this problem either.

Perhaps is a defective unit, or there is something else involved. thinking
