i have the G2 rack(no expansion yet) and i want to use 4 banks of sequenced synths all synched together(for a start i am using this one by mother misty http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-4164.html ). what ive done is open a new proformance, and load up all the banks with T-BOX(the G2 is being slaved to my drummachine), but only slot 1 and 2 synch, 3 and 4 dont move. the only difference i can find is that the "mono" light is on on slot 3 and 4. does anyone know what im doing wrong.? on my G1 i had to use a global synch module, but this module doesnt seem to be on the G2...
thanx in advance

I think you are in need of an expansion (as I am, too Crying or Very sad ). Mother Misty has an expanded G2, and often posts performances that are too large to load on an unexpanded G2. If so, the #voice indicator shows "mono" in RED in the slots that cannot be played. These slots don't work, until you free up enough CPU (read: delete slots 1 and 2).

On an unexpanded G2, you can load 2 slots when both the common area and the FX area loaded to 100% (it then uses all 4 dsp's: 2 for both common areas and 2 for the FX areas). With an expanded, you can load up all 4 slots to the max, as you have 8 cpu's at your disposal.

Hope I'm not talking nonsense here, and something else is goin on Shocked
