Hi,

Isn't buchla a "typical" modular synth product ?

What type of sounds do you consider being buchla sounds ?
Have any links ?

NM seems to be quite capable of producing a wide variety of sounds in the area of "typical" modular synth.
I've been using mine mainly for vintage emulation efforts (minimoog, modular moog) and it does a decent job for such an affordable box.

Been also doing some weird noises with elaborate patches but that wears out quite quickly, at least for me since I'm more into playing than sound design.

It's hard to get exact Buchla sounding patches on a Nord (although not impossible), because Nords don't emulate the response characteristics of vactrol's very well. But it can create an awful lot of random goodness- just like the Buchla. Play one through a decent reverb. Always a winner! Very Happy
