I have a Spikenzielab Drum Kit - Kit AI http://www.spikenzielabs.com/SpikenzieLabs/dkkai.html.

This device takes six piezo pickups and converts them into six different midi notes.

I have connected a piezo pickup to the first set of pads, which is meant to produce midi note 52.

I have connected this directly to a midi synth, and am able to have a note play on it when it hit the pickup. So far so good.

When I connect it to the MPC1000, and setup a program to trigger a snare sample on midi note 52, nothing happens. I have set the MPC1000 to receive midi from 1A, and plugged in the midi cable to MIDI 1. Nothing happens.

I hope this makes sense!
