I more or less tried to emulate an old Oberheim 4-voice. Suppose it doesn't sound anything near the real thing, never played one, so I just created something with more or less the same idea as the Oberheim, so 4 modules with a complete synthesizer in each module, like can be seen in some pictures. I'm shure there is room for improvement. I'm just starting with programming, so it's just a bit of noodling. Still I would like to share this.

I can't give you a clue if this sounds "authentic" or not because it has been lotsa years since I've played something like that. But this brings back memories of the first EMU systems. Before they made samplers, they made aver nice modular analog system with a keyboard that could provide polyphonic triggers and S/H. It was similar to this thing you have made. For each voice, you had to build a completely separate modular patch. It was kinda funky by today's standards, but since each patch could be a little different, it has a charming sound. I guess the Prophet 5 was pretty similar to this scheme you are using.
