Hi all,
Pls. I want to know the best hard synth for evolved and morphed sounds..

What is the best soft synth for that? Is the best soft synth equivalent to the best hard synth?

Many thanks in advance..

Maybe it is something that is a combination of the two. Check out the Nord G2.

Depends on your definition of evolved and morphed...

Hardware - Blofeld, K5000S, Waldorf Xt or Q, Korg Radias and older instruments like Yamaha's EX5, SY77, Korg Wavestation AD and workstations like the Triton Extreme or synths like the Korg Z1, Davesmith's Poly Evolver and so on all excel at evolved and morphed sounds. Top end synths like the Vsynth GT, Jupiter 80, Kronos, Kurzweil K3000 will give you enough creative options on that front to last a lifetime IMHO.

Loads of options in software - Padshop Pro, Alchemy, FM8, Massive, Reaktor, Korg Legacy Collection (Digital with the Wavestation and M1) and so on and so forth would all suffice quite well. Plenty of decent freeware/shareware will get you there also.

Then there are a slew of ipad apps like Nave, Samplr, Crystal, Animoog etc etc ......

Most of my pads come from a combination of a Triton, Integra-7 and Monomachine (with custom patches) when using hardware and Padshop pro / Absynth & Tassman 4 when using software but everyone has different needs and is looking for something different in a synth.
