Hi,

I am new to the whole modular scene. I'm ordering parts to build some YuSynth modules and can't find any of the "yellow" capacitors for the Noise generator, sample & hold module.

Can someone please suggest an alternative part to use, or point me in the direction of somewhere I can order these yellow caps.

Thanks in advance

I dont know what LCC means..it could be a manufacturers name?
but it has been answered before and poly box capacitors work fine for most of the values (nf and 1uf), i used ceramics for the tiny values (pf)

Hi Dodecasonico, I guess you can (not so sure if that's the best option), you should put it with the negative towards the output. The best option using electrolytic caps in the output should be: two of them connected in series positive with positive or negative with negative, however to get 1uf you should use two 2uf capacitor and that is even harder than getting a ceramic or polyester 1uf cap Smile.

I did it before with guitar pedals, not with a synth module, and in that particular case it worked.

Anyway check this with other guys as I am not an expert and I could be wrong or try a polyester capacitor as close as possible to 1uf like 680nf for instance.

Cheers,

JRC.
