Tiny blocks, 30 pounds a piece. I got nervous because the programming environment looks a bit too close to Max or PureData for comfort, but the names of the modules look fairly high level so I guess it may be usable. It's a Kickstarter, but the pledge goal has already been met so I guess it's fairly safe that it's going to happen. Another interesting little product!

Apparently you can create modules with a combination of XML and C, i should have one in the January batch.

Me too. The latest update landed in my inbox; revisions have delayed delivery by a month, but I'm happy to wait a little longer for a more refined product.

Buddy in Australia got his.. He quite likes the programming environment.

He says that the software attempts to determine what the patch sounds like (some sort of synthesis?) but that the units sound a bit different. He's somewhat active on the forums and they're talking software updates already.

Seems like a great platform. The software/hardware duality is a realm that nobody's really gone yet.. Although the G2 demo had that potential it didn't pan out that way. These look fun and especially for the price point.

No kidding - these are awesome value for money. I mean... £30 for a totally portable / programmable audio source / sequence / FX solution???

How can anyone possibly not buy just one?

Those who put money into Kickstarter should have received an update.

They ordered 1000 boards instead of 200 and there was a delay with the testing and delivery.

The pre-production series should be shipped by the end of next week, no shipping date given for the production run.

The updated website is under construction, with beta testing scheduled for the end of this month.

Having worked for a start-up manufacturer, I'm happy to extend my sympathy to the guy - at least for now. Bringing even the simplest product to market is a monumental task - it took us (with over a dozen employees) 15 months to bring out a simple, white LED strip Shocked

Yeah I saw the update too - was about to post it here yesterday but forgot. I think it will be all right. Smile

Yeah, got mine.

Its a pain in the arse so I haven't played with it too much, too much unplugging and turning on/off to get it into programming or running mode.

Oh that is a little disappointing about the unplugging and turning off and on. Guess still very much beta version.

Yay!!! - my rainbow set of 4 has finally arrived!!! too much coffee

Unfortunately I have a piece of heavy project work to complete as part of an expensive training course - so it'll be a couple of weeks before I get to play with them properly (or indeed at all).

Damn my sense of priority Evil or Very Mad
