Registration issue |
|
|
I unintentionally created a new topic when I intended to post this here. Sorry.
I am attempting to purchase the audio software in the electo-music.com store. But I am unable to register as the system is giving me the error below during the registration process.
"Your E-Mail Address does not appear to be valid - please make any necessary corrections."
However it is a valid email address and I tried another on a different domain with no joy. One address is a att.net the other yahoo.com.
Regards,
James |

Hello James
obviously the att email worked to get you signed up for the forum .. so must be valid enough
The shop is mosc's domain, so have to wait for him to see this. Meanwhile I'll remove that other message you posted.
BTW, as long as it is not replied you would be able to remove it yourself too - a next time. _________________ Jan

It may be a bug Jez, but this has always been the case I think .. the phpbb-files link was supposed to be a secret I guess ... _________________ Jan

It's sort of an intentional bug. It allows people who post music on electro-music.com to use direct links from other web sites. As long as this isn't abused, we'll keep it this way. _________________ --Howard

Thanks, it is indeed a bug. I just fixed it. Please give it a try and if you still experience difficulty, let me know.

Hmm ... the code looks like it should be working .. there are a couple of listeners right now, so not going to do any switching.
Will do it at some point when there is a switch active, prolly wednesday then when Jez or Rob is on. _________________ Jan

Fixed it :-)
Jez was active.
This was in the radiostats33.php script, it was trying to read relay data from srv3, but that data was not on srv3, it never was there .. it was on srv2, and now is on srv4, but there never was a need to qualify the request as such, as http://electro-music.com would go to srv2 before and goes to srv4 after the last server switch ... something like that ... so I just removed the srv3 bit from the request URL and (the http 1.1 required) host spec.
Edit: spelings and detail blahs _________________ Jan
