Minibrute & MFOS 16 step sequencer work together? |
|
|
I just got an Arturia Minibrute (I really like it!). I'm also having someone build me a MFOS 16 step sequencer. I'm wondering if they will work together so I'm asking here in hopes someone knows.
Here is the link to the sequencer on the MFOS site: http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth_new/SEQ16_2006/SEQ16_2006.php
And here is the type he's building (not the circular one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzI4rEUuWDA
There's an image of the back of the Minibrute below.
Hopefully someone that's built one of these sequencers (or has one) can chime in and give me some advice.

Yes.
You may want to look at the new Arturia Beatstep sequencer. It's pretty cheap, 129usd. 16 steps, with cv / gate outs, midi clock, 16 memory banks, etc... |

So, you are saying "Yes", it will work with my MFOS 16 step sequencer?
Not looking for another sequencer but thanks for the tip. |

Yes it will work, minibrute has standard gate in and 1v/oct(it doesn't matter though). The mfos sequencer is good, the vari-clock one even better. But I said the beatstep just in case you want to have another sequencer without having to buy another big mfos seq. So you could use mfos sequencer for pitch cv and arturia beatstep for vcf cv |
