Hi forum ,

As a newbee in diysynth I was wondering ;

Has someone already made gerber-files from the pcb's ??
Yves shares those ( THANK YOU !! ) as pdf files , but I hope someone already converted the .........

I am the " lucky-one " to diy a great deal of my sons synth , and having gerber-files would make pbc-ing a lot easier for me .

any help highly appreciated .

Since Yves has the shematics published it should not be a big deal to just create your own version of the PCB.

I've started to create KiCad projects for the minimoog and Steiner-parker filters. But since i've adapted the circuits to SMD-parts and done som other mods, the PCB-layouts is'nt useful for any one else (at the moment)

I've done Eurorack versions of the Steiner Parker and Minimoog VCF's, but am reluctant to release any since I didn't ask Yves first (did 'em for my own synth.)

Just for fun (yes i have too much spare time Wink ) i tried to cram everything on to one single PCB.

6 jacks (2 audo in,1 audio out and 3 CV ) and 5 pots on one side and the circuit on the other side. Not very DIY, the SMD matched transistor-pairs are TINY (but doable with some exprerience) I have to re-check all the footprints to make shure everything is ok. At the moment the PCB measures 45 x 110mm

Understadable, but you should ask!
Maybe he's fine with you releasing it, that would be great!

Hi there,

this is a script that will allow you to convert PDF to Gerber

http://swannman.github.io/pdf2gerb/

It is open source so eventually you could modify it to your needs.

Cheers,

JRC
