I keep acquiring synths I'm supposed to like (but don't like) then waste time trying to find something to use them for. This time it's the Microkorg XL, not to be confused with the original Microkorg.

The original MK is my favorite synth while the XL, to me, sounds like it was recorded on cassette tape. I can make it sound better to me by playing with settings but so far it's more trouble than fun.

Anyway, the initial line on this tune is the XL and everything else is MK. I would have fired up the CZ-101 next but the "vocal" jam track made me laugh when I played it back so I stopped there.
