I just wish someone would do some stripboard or pcb layouts of these ingenious designs. I can read schematics pretty well but have not yet had time to learn to do this with eagle. But at some point I hope to be able to.

really thanks 4 the flowers guys flower sometimes some feedback is welcome welcome

currently i have a linear ADSR in the simulation oven.

its just that i havent seen much desings of linear ADSR and was courios how it could be realised.

i dont know how interessting that would be to use in reality, what do you think? Do you know synths that have used linear adsr?

@ayab do u know Lochmaster and sprint-layout? i can really recomment them, after a longer testing phase in a virtual maschine i purchased them, both they really worth the (relative little) money

@belltones, 4"x4" synth could be nice in holiday Smile what should that synth contain for you? 2OSC 2LFO 3AR/AD, VCA, VCF? something like that should be possibile Shocked

cheers, bb

PS: iam still waiting for a example freq-shifter design to have a starting point

here you go flower

I might not comment very often but I am watching. It's just that I lack knowledge when
it comes to analog circuits so I just take notes and someday I might understand it all.

@Ayab: you can also use DIY Layout creator for simple designs (it's free). However I can
also recommend Sprint-Layout which is what I always use for my perfboard designs.
I think there is a free demo version.

I use linear adsr in my diy modular, but my designs use a microprocessor and a dac for each channel. This way a linear adsr is easy but a e-curved adsr is a little more difficult.
If you want to build an analog adsr you need a constant current source to charge the capacitor.

nice colour your flower has Smile , thanks phobos
hard to imagine that u not so in analog after all the stuff u already have realized!

hi grumble you are right, most synths with linear envelope are digital, which makes sense.

While waking up today i had the idea why it could be totaly usefull to have linear ENV, you can put a whatever-response-AMP afterwards to create a whatever-response-ENV.

so far i have two working simus, one is based on the idea from that spanish book where you mix AD and AR ENV to get the ADSR. Offset and Level Adaption circuits are not included.

All startet out by playing around with a common triangle osc and as i found the peak detector circuit could be used as RSFF the things developed further.

I have the strong feeling to go back to the beginning and use the lessons learned for a comming design.

Thanks again thumb up and for suggesting Lochmaster and sprint-layout will have a look today.
