So, I'm not even a novice at electronic music. I'm a wanna be. So I'm wondering what kind of files do most sequencers accept? Like, how do I get my field recording into the sequencer to make music with?

Wav is best, most sequencer will accept mp3 too, but it's not advisable to work with compressed files generally, if you don't have to.
