Well, I think this was the warmest end of February week I've ever had in my life. I know, it may be ludicrus for southern hemisphere people, but 21C is not normal for this time of year where I live. And even hotter is the music that comes in these days. Excellent and outstanding electronic music being published, some of which is on tonight's show. And this is kind of the best thing in my view running this podcast: getting to hear this great music and being able to share it with you. Well, before I babble to much, better to tune into the show and listen to the fantastic tracks by d'Voxx (Télégraphe), Stefan Erbe (Reflect+), Soundstrokes (Soundstrokes), Harald Nies (Fractal), Pan Electric (Step Out), and Kevin Keller (Ice Worlds).

And here I have a new ambient edition! Very interesting new artists on this one, again, serving various flavours of this musical genre. Interesting enough that it somewhat started out as environmental music (actually called "furniture music" in its very early days). And despite many rumors, it's not only meant to run in the background but may be listened to consciously. Well, in the end it's up to you whether you like to have it accompany you or take your full attention. Have your choice with the tracks by Luis Mielich (Koyomi Outtakes), Carbon Entity (Within the Cosmic Void), Forrest Fang (The Fata Morgana Dream), Julien Ross (Retrospective), and Troy Ramos (Sound Space).

Since about two weeks the weather is quite pounding in my area, accompanied by quite some rain. Additionally, our dihswasher is doing a constant rhythm one could dance to. Clearly, two forcing signs to have some more beats on the show. And here we go with danceable tracks that may as well be played in a disco or party. It's been a while to visit these more popular region of electronic music, but nevertheless a very interesting one when listening to the details. Have some time off and enjoy the tracks by RCDO (Dawnlights), Lampé (Between the Worlds), Hardcore Buddhist (Altered Perceptions Vol. 1), Sebon (Featuring the Advocates), Fluffy Inside (Fluffy Inside), Kalumet (Kahnua).

There are quite some interesting topics in European politics, be it whether or how or not Great Britain leaves the EU, about young people going on the streets for better climate treatment, and about changes in copyright regulations. All quite heavy topics and sometimes it feels overwhelming to try to follow all the pro and contra and propaganda that tries to worsen the situation for common poeple. If you need a short rest to center yourself, tonight's tracks might help. It's a nice and chilly playlist with Time Away (Modern Wonders / Compilation), Stefan Erbe (Reflect+), Schiller (Morgenstund), Zoungla (There Will Be Dub), Biodiode (Cosmic Voyager Vol. 1), Advanced Suite (Cosmic Duality / Compilation).

So they recently presented a really big drone that is meant to become a flying taxi. Four giant rotors and a wagon below. Drones seem to be quite popular these days, hovering in the air with a camera attached to record videos or take photos. Or for current thriller movies as surveillance and weapon systems. Well, back to the taxi thingy, the drawback of this drone was that it couldn't actually fly. And the presenters said that it didn't matter. Well, I wonder what else matters for a drone if it is not flying? But maybe the music of tonight's edition will make you fly or at least lift off. It comes with fabuloues tracks by Baaden & Cremer (Aufbruch), Schiller (Morgenstund), Ebia (Transmission), Colin Rayment (FRB), and Computerchemist (Volcan Dreams).

We're in April, and syndae is back on. I've had a bit of a car trouble last week, which made me wonder about Murphy's law on that "things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance". Well, I constantly give things such chances, and so I had to head over to the car registrations office once more to fix things. Nothing complicated, just a typo, but still. And, surely, counting for double the traveling time paid off as well, as I immediately stranded in heavy traffic. Got in still five minutes ahead of the appointment. Which someone contradicts Murphy's law. Well, so are laws. With all this and other troubles in mind, tonight I will celebrate with music that is easy on you. So have a great time with tracks by Gunnar Spardel (Simplicity in a Complex World), Massergy (Fire Opal), Fiona Joy Hawkins (Signature Deluxe Editon), Auditive Escape (Polychorme), Gary Farr (An Angel on Earth), and Streamline (Touch the Clouds).

It's easter time. And while I am not sure whether any of you celebrate it for religious reasons, to me, like christmas, it's a more quiet time to spend with the ones you love and care for. So, not too hard tunes tonight, not too seren, therefore I picked tracks to serve you a fine mix to chill and have fun. On tonight's playlist you will find Planet of the Arps (Planet of the Arps), Klangzaun, Audiokonstrukte (Heavy Dub Vol. 4), Haelium (Rising Tides 013), Santah (Tunguska Chillout Grooves Vol. 2), Diskret (Diskret).

I hope you had a nice time the past weekend and week. Here, school vacation time ends which means that everything will become busier from Monday on: trains, roads, walkways... Before throwing oneself back into the daily busy business tonight's edition will serve as an island of tranquility. It is kind of ambient, but not the most quiet kind. And featuring quite a bunch of melodic elements as well. To me, these 30 minutes serve really impressive and serene music taken from recent and upcoming releases by Tom Eaton (How It Happened), Ian Boddy (Altair), Mathias Grassow & Michael Brückner (Polar Vortex), Jim Ottaway (Beyond the Purple Sun), Janne Hanhisuanto (Serenitas).

Join tonight's stream to pick up some speed compared to last week, still downtempo for your ears with melodic focus. As with many streams, it will still be a changeful ride of high quality music. Not a stream but a good run have Baltes and Erbe with their music. Both will be recording the first take on their new album tomorrow in Hagen. The event is sold out, but there will be more concerts this summer, like in Essen two weeks later for the second recording session. And in July in Bochum, premiering their final takes on the album named A-11. It's always thrilling to be part of this process. So don't hesitate to join, whenever you can. Ok, back to tonight's show, where I am sure you will enjoy your musical flow with tracks by Thomas Lemmer & Christoph Sebastian Pabst (Meerblick), Stefan Erbe (The Sound of Syndae), Time Away & Myth (Anemoi), Ivan Black (Modern Wonders), Otarion (Extensive), Lastelle (Flying over Shanghai).

We are closing in on summer, and quite a bunch of events start to queue up hopefully not only bringing the light to the stage but also warmer and sunny weather to the northern hemisphere. So this edition will surely raise your hopes for a cracking time, at least musical wise. One month ahead is the next installment of the E-Scape festival in the UK, which is run by AD music (the event, not the UK). It has quite a list of artists to see and hear, like Glenn Main, Axxent Opaque, Nik Owen Jones, and David Wright, all of whom you will get a track of as teaser. Moreover, there are two additional tracks provided by General Fuzz (Study Music) and Oleg Sirenko (Tunguska Chillout Grooves Vol. 2). Please your ears, listen in.

Talking with each other is key. Just learned that again at work, but it's also true in everyday's life. If there are issues to be solved, talking to people helps as it helps to understand each other and each other's motives. Sometimes it's just tiny things that can make a big difference. And, of course, all parties get more forward when going in the same direction instead of pulling crosswise at the same rope. Yeah, I know, this sounds quite vague. But I am certain you can match this to several situations you personally experienced. And my wish is to have this understanding within the whole community supporting electronic music. Like back in the days, when everyone only had one goal: to make EM a musical home to the people. So tonight comes some music honoring the very golden times given to us by Otarion (Extensive), Thaneco (The Cretan Tapes), Ivan Black (Digitus), Steve Roach (Projekt - Spring 2019), Wolfgang Nachahmer (Synchromystik).

Here I go with a really colourful show this time presenting a variety of electronic music impressions of current and coming releases. To me, sounds are like paint, and depending on ones taste it's a different set of colours one likes in viewing as well as listening. And the wider the range, the better. At least to me it is. So I hope you enjoy tonight's tracks as much as I, which are by Schiller ft. Schwarz (Morgenstund), Thomas Lemmer & Christoph Sebastian Pabst (Meerblick), Suns of Arqa (Heart of Suns 1979 to 2019), Robert Fox (Phoenix Rising), Erik Wøllo (Project - Sprint 2019), Rudolf Heimann (The Sound of Syndae).

Back from a short and exciting vacation and we go all in to the beat. Yes, we relish some soundbreaking features on this edition, real diamonds of its own. So let's put some pressure to your speakers as if we are going to grow some diamonds. We had some natural beats recently as well, i.e. thunder and rain pouring down on us. Also making one's heart jump a bit, but not as fine as when the soul dances to the rhythm of human making. Enjoy some nice rhythmic electronic music with tracks by KUNI (Coalesce), Spintribe (Phantoms), Osiris4 (Black Diamonds), ATOEM (Voltage Controlled Time), Protuberance (Recollections Vol. 3).

Fixing a toilet seat does not sound very exciting, and it is not. Especially, when one encounters all the screws being rusty and don't do their job anymore. Well, you are screwed then. So I had a nice afternoon ranting swearing. Well, all the better when the show planned for the evening contains some much more exciting sounds and helps coming down. This is really a wonderful collection of tracks tonight, and I hope they help anyone getting steady. At least, I hope you will enjoy the music as much as I. On this edition you will get the fabulous music of Der Waldläufer (Feel), Mike Woodlark (Mackland Ave), Ancient Astronaut (Through the Tunnel of Love), Eko Fisk (Psychopaths on the Western Frontier), Stan Dart (Murinsel Vol. 2), Eagle (Black Eagle)

So tomorrow it's the Gardenparty again and I am looking forward to meet all the nice fans and friends of electronic music and the like. This event is quite different from music festivals, as it is...well...a party. You have drinks, you have food, you have talks, and lots of fun with great music on stage. It's like a family come together, although with quite a big family. And there is another cool event coming up in two weeks: the premiere of the new Baltes & Erbe album A-11, of which you will get to hear one song tonight. And, of course, more fantastic music by Peter Mergener (Pink Flow), Multiple Sense (Lunary), Time Away and K37 (Legacy of Thought: History of the Earth).

One party gone, more events to come before summer break. Or is there a break at all? Well, not musical wise, as syndae will go on without rest for the next weeks. And some really nice music to come, so don't miss out. Besides music, the best thing about such parties is to meet up with like-minded people sharing their passion for our kind of electronic music. Ok, I admit, I also enjoyed the food being served, but the talks were really great. So, whenever you get the chance, join your musical friends for a sit in and enjoy each others company. Which also counts for this podcast, as you are never alone listening to your favourite sounds. Lean back now, and enjoy a fantastic time with Stan Dart (Murinsel Vol. 2), Ken Elkinson (Chilltopia), Faber (Kaleidoscope), Jens Gad (Pink Flow), Wavestar II (E-Scape 2019), Mikk Rebane (Between).

It's planetarium time again tomorrow, where you can experience the premiere of Baltes and Erbe's A-11. I will try to be there, of course. But it's not the typical music you'd expect when watching a nightly sky where stars pass directly overhead. I am quite sure, the music on this edition would fit quite well to such a view: Ambient at it's best. Although, it sometimes gets a bit more energetic than pure beauty. And we have a wonderful collection of tracks by great artists, who are Christian Fiesel (Astronauts 1), Miles Richmond & Peter Grenader (feat. Steve Roach) (POV), Shinpal (Seven Lives), Ivan Black (@Ambient Online), Static Dreamscapes, DesuExSounds.

Finding your own way isn't really easy, is it? And it's sometimes not the most comfortable thing to do, as you have to think about yourself in very much detail. Who you are. What you want. Why you are here. And where you are going. Really fundamental things to find out to define yourself and your way forward. The outcome may be a surprise to yourself. But aside from those global questions, finding your own way is also true for when you live your desires. Expressing yourself with music might be one way to go, and it does not have to be a musical career you're after. One way to share your passion is to go public. Netlabels serve a great purpose nowadays in presenting a fantastic broadness of musical styles, a platform for those who want to give with no restrictions imposed. Some of those we have tonight, picked from the vast amount of releases from the Netlabel day 2019. Enjoy the music by 4T thieves (Squares of Coloured Circles), Unmori (Monumental: Netlabel Day 2019), Orgonon Sound Machine (Radiation Overload), Flextronic (Ethnostep 9), Shadermader (Sacrosanct Remixes Vol. 1), Rose (Mental Flooding).

Do you enjoy magic? I mean, the real world stuff where they do all sorts of tricks which seem to be impossible to happen. Magicians somehow took over several talent shows, it seems, but this may all be my bubble of experience. To me, it still is fascinating how they make cards vanish and reappear from thin air. I know it's a trick and I think about how it could be done. I also admit that I sometimes watch videos revealing tricks, just out of curiousity of how it is done. And my biggest respect to the magician's imagination on ways to fool spectators. Creating music that really gets to me to me also is kind of magic. Here, it is not about fooling but about injecting emotional hooks into the listener. Most commercial productions don't do it for me, as they do work with the equivalent of magic tricks, but not with passion in mind. The tracks on my show don't play tricks. They simply have the vibe to make me love them. Some of such tracks are on tonight by Kuni (Coalesce), moonbooter (EVIL 18 2DE), Aevio (Bioluminiscence), Schiller (Morgenstund), Thomas Lemmer & Christoph Sebastian Pabst (Meerblick), D-Echo Project (Cine Visions).

We are living in a short-lived time. The world spins faster and faster, and events are rushing by like sport cars on a racing track. Well, I don't think that everything was better in the years behind. But I think it sometimes is a good idea to stand still and look back. Or rather listen back, if you talk in music. Back in the days when electronic music was young musicians tended to experiment with these new instruments making sound from current. They found new ways to express themselves, let the inspiration flow into the art they created. In an instant. Nowadays, while the instruments are no new wonder anymore there are still such people enjoying to let the flow surprise themselves. Tonight, we have some of these musicians and their tracks with IcingWolf, Crash Dump File, Broken Bow, Svartkropp & Blinky Blinky Computerband (Jammern & Grillen), Perceptual Defence (Changing Images), Klangzaun, Bernhard Wöstheinrich & Evan Foreman (Live in Farmington 2019).

Surfing on Youtube, Vimeo or similar video providers, I often stumble upon videos done for a music track. It reminds me somewhat of the early days and music TV. Actually, a good pal did a video teaser for my The Sound of Syndae CD, which is awesom (the video, and of course the CD). So I thought, I would try to do some video for tracks to publish. Turns out, there is quite some good software out there, for free even, to cut and edit videos. The most difficult part actually is to find a theme and, depending on the theme, fitting video fragments to combine to a full track length video. So there I am spending time on video creation, and I surely will let you know about its outcome later this year. Tonight's edition of syndae somewhat felt like combining fragments, as the tracks are rather short in duration. Therefore you get an eight track show tonight with contributions by Xenoton (Perpetuum), Video Void (The Balcony Girl), Deep Shoq and Chemtrails (Summer Sun Vol. 7), Organoid (2009 - 2019 Showcase), Tuuligan (Tales of Hidden Worlds), Nattefrost, Osinski (Try).

A rather quiet week passed by. And I am still into video production. Recently I used some graphic engine to create an animation video, where the camera moves a certain path over computer generated buildings. Actually, I did two of those. The first one took about 70 minutes to render for about 3 minutes video. And the second took more than 3 hours resulting in a 2.5 minutes video. Crazy! As a test, I uploaded the 3 minutes video to Youtube. Well, it took about 4 hours to have the video online. Four hours! Oh, boy. I can see now where all the time goes for producing and publishing some video. I much prefer serving my audio only podcast, which takes about 2 minutes to upload to my server with 30 minutes of fine electronic soundscapes. Like the one you will get tonight featuring Alio Die & Lorenzo Montanà (The Threshold of Beauty), The Glimmer Room (The Locked Book), OVOD (Forest Thoughts), 4T Thieves and Pandacetamol (She Danced on the Sand), The Sleepless (Close to Impossible).

Every second sounds on

Are you a sweet tooth type? Or the spicy one? Or maybe more on the bitter side? Or, like me, oving the variety of tastes? Some buddies think that I lost my gustative nerves regarding spicyness. Well, I admit that I love hot food. But I definitely know that there are some dishes even I cannot eat. (I especially know about one such dish I had in an Indian restaurant in Ottawa.) But it's not only food, where I love it hot and sweet and bitter. The same holds for my taste in music. And tonight's selection kind of reflects this with tracks having a perfect mix in textures. Simply jump in with me and listen to tracks by Time Away (Alien Paint), meat load (Glitchmania Remixes), weldroid (Regenerative), elAstrum (e-Waves), Faber (Kaleidoscope).

When I was younger, at the beginning of my electronic music journey, at one time I discovered the music by Suzanne Ciani. It was published by Private Music, where you could also find the music by Yanni. It was both labeled New Age and not electronic music, but their music was simply beautiful to listen to without being corny. Well, yes, I also relished the piano play of Johannes Schmoelling with Tangerine Dream, but this was different. And I still carry the love for the piano sound inside. Tonight will be much of a focus on beauty and melody, and most of the tracks with a piano at its core. So enjoy the music by Janne Hanhisuanto (Anti-Gravity), Fiona Joy Hawkins & Rebecca Daniel (Lightness of Dark), Rick Sparks (Hushabye), Jarred Walker (Becoming Tomorrow), Christoph Berghorn (Let Go), Alejandro Santoyo (Dreams for a Better Tomorrow).

I highly appreciate people committing themselves for a greater good. It does not have to be the big world wide good like a famous schoolgirl running for climate change, although her dedication is admirable and should receive all the support she can. But also doing small things are applaudable, like running a festival for non profit just because you love the music and love to support its fans. The guys from the Electronic Circus are such a lot. And I am very happy they decided to run the event even though it will be difficult to reach the required figures. You will get a tiny impression of their headliner on this show. And in total only new material on tonight's show with tracks by GROBEK (GROBEK 1), Ivan Black (Short Stories and Other Dreams), Quaeschning meets Frick, Steve Roach (Bloom Ascension), Syndromeda (Close to the Core).
