To be able to control parameters on a Roland V-Synth Module I've found that Midi CC 96, 97 (and probably 11, not sure) cannot be used.

However I want to control this module using the global wheels and expression pedal on my G2X.

In my current experiment global wheels will send both it's original CC (96, 97) and the CC:s necessary for V-synth. So I'm sending double CC:s. Am I right to assume that transmisson of default midi CC from the global wheels, expression pedal and modulation wheel cannot be turned off if I want to transmit these other midi cc using the hardware controllers?

Hi Oortone

If you already send booth #cc I think you just need to deactivated the MIDI Slot Channel.

All steps :

1. System > MIDI slot Channel : Off

2. System > MIDI Global Channel : Off
EDIT : I think you don't need to follow this step... you can make coffe or smoke a cigarette instead Surprised

3. Editor > Add a 'Ctrl Send' MIDI module

4. Adjust MIDI channel and #cc that you want to control (with the V-Synth) to the 'Ctrl Send' MIDI module.

5. Add 'Morph Assign' with the desired controler (wheel, pedal, etc...) to the 'value' knob on the Ctrl Send' MIDI module

6. Have fun !

Smile
