I was going to mention to connect a NANDulator to it but I see you are already ahead of me Laughing
without CMOS or TTL ? sounds like it is passive or very discrete. Hmm you didn't say no 8-pin DIP; opamps ? 555s ?

(could you reduce the embedding size a bit btw, it doesn't even fit on my screen)

(squeezed it)

No 4xxx or 7xxx etc series.
Used opamp DIPs only for buffering to outside.
Discrete 4015 Matrix that would be pure lunettacy!
