i almost posted this in the lunetta forum, but then i read in the first post that we have to forget about adsr`s in lunettas - so i ended up here

after seeing in this post four leftover gates http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-70220.html
i thought may one could get rid of the 555.

see attached the basic idea, starting with AD function.

Both caps are charged the same way over the attack resistor, as the voltage in the caps reaches the treshhold of the schmidt-trigger (10V according to the Datasheet) C2 will be discharged, while C2 remains charged - this protects the circuit from oscillating - C2 will then be discharged by the transistor.

problem here is that the Gate works inverted.
This could be solved by using a second transistor, second pic, also added ASR option and a Buffer (taken from the Gabor ADSR from the yusynth archive)

As we have inverters left we could get rid of the transistors easily.

Adding a classic SustainPot to the decay and a release-path makes it a ADSR, no need for the ASR option anymore.
1k value of the sustain pot means low, in classic designs even 10k where be used.

by swoping the darlington with a opamp we leave the CMOS domain but stay on the single supply side.

R15 on the darlington had to stay in the simulation, otherwise an offset had appeared.
