I’ve been playing with systems for generating micro beats lately. This latest patch has a recursive beat generator (slot B). A note is fed in from the clock sync pulse which plays the note and after a random but quantised delay, generates a new note for the same voice. The new note has a random (but again, quantised) note value. When a specific note has been ‘hit’ three times, a flip flop turns off the recursion. The idea could be taken much further with inter-slot midi getting involved.

Very nice one, Ian. The only part I don't like is the bass throb, but I'm able to adjust that on SLOT D quite easilly.

the mood, the sound design, and the sense of extended width and depth make this an excellent prf, ian!
the recursive beat generator is nice!
