[Closed] New DIY kit for PRO2021 - A Pro-One Keyboard Synth |
|
|
[Ordering Closed]
Hi ya'll! I don't hang out here much, but rather mostly on MuffWiggler forums, but I thought maybe some people here might be interested in my new DIY kit for a Pro-One style monosynth. I'm currently taking deposits for the first round of kits. It's a typical DIY kit where you will have to stuff the PCBs etc...
[link to original MuffWiggler thread was here - dead]
New build thread:

Here's some sounds it is capable of:

And some pics of a completed unit:

This looks like an AWESOME project! I actually have a non-functional Pro-One that I have slowly been working on, but it still has some issues to deal with - a bad j-wire keybed, one dead osc chip, a noisy VCA, and I think a fried CPU. I love the Pro-One, so this might be a real option for me.
I just looked at the thread on Muff's. Think I'm gonna order one in the next few weeks.
Thanks, great job! |

Thanks and that would be sweet!
Btw, on your old one they are not so hard to work on. If you do feel like fixing it ever, I’d recommend spending the $200 to get a new keybed Fromm techmechs vintage synth, and a TurboCPU replacement.
Of course you need a new Fatar keybed and a turbo CPU to build my kit, so maybe that makes more sense (and more DIY fun!) |

Sweet! I just emailed everyone but I've started a new build thread here. Should be at the top! |
