OK so it isn't the Fat Bastard but I did move one module out of the "show your backlog" into "now I need a rack for this thing".

The first of what will be four Analog Metropolis AM3030 VCOs. This VCO is based on the SSM2030 chip, as used in the Prophet 5. I ended up doing this in dotcom format.

The sound kicks ass, especially with the hard sync and PWM. I only have 3 more to build too Rolling Eyes ah well at least I'm making progress again.

Funny, I was just going to say that if he is not even a "synthmaster" then I'd hate to see how much beer he drinks Shocked

Very lovely work! thumb up

And how's the M5 lurking in the background? Smile

@Jyoti

The M5N was providing sync and filter for the AM3030 at the time I took the picture, and I also used it to help calibrate. I think lately I've been using the M5N more than anything, but on the other hand, I haven't been doing as much recording or production work. :shrugs: Thanks for the kind comment though. Smile

I recently brought my 20 VCO modular to a music shop in Stockholm, Sweden, for a demo. For pictures, visit http://www.jamshop.se/
and klick, on the left side of the screen, at "synth/analog/vintage"
There is a picture of me, and a short text. Klick on that too, and you enter a picture gallery from the event.
There was about 30 or 40 people in the audience, listening for more than 2 hrs on me and the modular. I think that say something of how devoted the modular minded musician are Wink

I think I know how to pronounce it! Very Happy Been corrected a couple of times by a semi-dutch guy at work.

Great setup. It's also fun to see a little Electribe playing with the big guys. Wink
