U96 robo vocs

Hello modular freaks and experts..
I have something very good for u so lets start the investigation.
I am trying to find how i could reach with my modular G1 the robo vocs style that the great U96 band and other Techno music projects used to use in their music.
I think i could do that with an Atari computer, though i'm not sure about it (i almost am, but i wouldn't be able to tell you which program to use).

There's one thing for sure : i had a proggy on my Amiga 500 computer that was definitely able to do the job. The program was called Audiosculpture and apart from this speech samples generator, it was just the same thing as all of the trackers (Soundtracker/Protracker generation) that were available for free (i mean those were freeware !).

But now i'm thinking of it, since Audiosculpture was a commercial release, it's rather possible that it was available for both Atari and Amiga.

Please note however that i'm serious and 100% sure about the Amiga version of Audiosculpture, as i was stunned myself to be able to generate the-same-speeches-as-U96 ! (i mean : not close-to-U96 BUT the-same-as !).

PS : i don't believe much in Korg VC10 Vocoder, as those U96 speeches have never been pronounced by any human voice before being processed. It's 100% (text-based) generated shit. And as with almost any speech-synth ever, you often had to type the word you wanted to hear a different way from the one you would spell it. Example : the word FUTURE would be written FUTJURE...
One solution is to try make the modular say the words that i want but finally this is not a so good solution cause i will need to spend a lot of time to do it this way.

I was just wondering in sum if we can make our voice sound like a text based one.I tryied many presets from many freaks but those weren't so close to what i am looking for..
But your minds in hard process and when u will have some results lets talk more about it.

This might not be what you're after (as you might need to do live work), but you can always run WinUAE on your PC and emulate the Amiga. It's sound emulation is very accurate, and you can output to a file. I did a quick search on google for "audio sculpture" adf and it's around...

i am a sound engineer and music technologistand am trying to learn if there is any patch or any pattent to make my voice or make the modular say something and sound like the old scool robo vocs that most of the electronic music's band were using in the early nineties.
You can do the exact same voice with an Atari. If I'm not mistaken it was the standard speech synthesis that came with the computer/OS, just as Amiga had one as well (which sounded a lot lamer). Maybe i should try an Atari emulator?If u have something in your mind or in your patches folder let me know.

I don't use the NM1 anymore, so there are no vocoder patches I can post for you. My G2 vocoders are not ready for prime time either.

Speech synthesis and vocoding are a bit different. The Nord Modular is a pretty poor speech synthesizer. Some people have made patches to make it pronounce a few words, like Clavia and Stroopwafel.

In vocoding, you take the spectral distrubution of one sound, like a voice, and apply it to another, like an organ sound. If you get everything set right, the organ can sound like speech or singing.
