ThereminWorld and Spellbound (the Internet's only weekly radio show and podcast dedicated to theremin music) are running a joint contest in the month of October. The winner will receive a 2GB iPod nano pre-loaded with episodes of Spellbound.

Details at http://www.thereminworld.com/nano.asp

Good luck!

I don't know what the odds of winning such a contest are. You have to listen to about 4 hours of these programs. On the other hand, there is some great music on them. Quite a bit of the Theremin music I've heard on Spellbound is superb, even if you aren't a Theremin enthusiast. Personally, I love Theremin music. Some of the musicianship one hears on this program is amazing.

Thanks for the notice, Jason. I'm going to listen to these shows - not just for the chance to win a Nano, but to hear some good electro-music... Cool

Hey, the October 2nd Spellbound includes our own Kip Rosser's version of Claire De Lune - outstandiing. It's one of the best pieces on the program!

That's the good news. The bad news is that some of the music on this program is not all that great and in a podcast there is no easy way to skip to the next track. This is my main gripe with podcasts.

You asked about the odds... so far, we have <10 qualified entries. I'm not sure how many we'll end up with at the end of the contest, but I'd say the odds aren't too bad at this point Smile
