STFU is a nonprofit collaborative event for performers of electronic music.. lots of participants met over the internet via sites like this and the whole idea is to host events and meetups like this in various cities. STFU Glasgow was the second event like this, after an initial concert in Manchester this June.

STFU Glasgow took place over the course of 3 days, November 11-13 - there were about 10 people performing each day, so it was an intensive listening experience...

now we present the audio archive: 28 artists, over 1.3 gigabyte of music in total, free to download at http://stfu.regicide.org/stfulive.htm - cheers to scene.org for hosting this massive archive!

There will be STFUs in various other European (and maybe North American..) countries in 2006, check the website http://www.stfumusic.org if you'd like to get involved - events planned so far include two in Germany and one in Holland, broadening the scope to include workshops and open, improvisational jams.

since I'm also in the process of editing together a documentary DVD with interviews and concerts from STFU Glasgow (and with some other netaudio activists) I made a small MPEG-4 Teaser Trailer. Please check it out if find the time Smile
