Anyone know if I should be using Lin or Log pots on my "wacky zany wierd (and most definitely odd) sound maker" which is currently a pile of components minus pots?

I want to tame/tune the beast as much as is physically possible ie not have all the control in the last 5% of the pot run.

Cool - thanks!

Am going to buy a load of each and try them (it's Sunday so I'm off to empty out Maplin). Another WSG coming up!

The thing with the WSB is that the useful range of the pots changes depending on the position of the other pots. I played around with it for a while and I honestly don't think it could be improved by changing any of them to log pots.

Ok cool - thanks for your help.

WSG nearly finished - it failed the smoke test the first time due to a short but it's making merry fart sounds at the moment.
