The first time I heard Don Slepian it was in Boston when he played a solo concert for electronic keyboards at Berklee College in 1989 that I really enjoyed.
At that time, after graduating, I was working in the Labs of the Music Synthesis Department as Lab Monitor.
I remember him also because he was on the Audion record label helping Wendy Carlos with her "Beauty in the Beast" album (my all time favorite album of electronic music).
If he could tell us how it was to work with her it would be way cool Exclamation

Don is an amazing improvisor. If you can, listen to any ArtMusic Coffee House program. He always starts of with a improv.

I think I heard him on Rutgers radio in the mid 80's, saw a show at a firehouse in Franklyn Township, NJ. around the same time. Chill zone. Very Happy
