DeltaBandResonator for Piano is an eccentric mix of Americana folk elements contrasting with blues, and boogie-woogie influences, and a clustery barbarism inspired by recent electronic music. Duration is around 12 1/2 minutes long.

Finished it in early December, working on the polished score now. Some of you will have already heard it, but whathahell...

Wink

If you like DBR, you might want to try my big piece BlueStrider.

Wow! Jeff, that's a great piece. I dig it - reminds me of Ragtime. This is a very unified compostion.

I assume this is a MIDI performance, or can you play that good right out of the box?

Haha... well I might have been able to play it 20 years ago before I lost all my chops living away from a piano for years. It was about time I wrote another big piano piece, like my piece BlueStrider, which is one of thoses pieces that everybody always says is their favorite piece. The fact that it was written in 1994 was starting to bug me.

Like most musicians I want people's favorite piece to be very very recent!
