One of my initial (minor) disappointments with the G2 was the absence of voltage controlled glide (sorry, modulatable glide time).
This building block follows along the lines of the Serge Universal Slope Generator, the sample patch even includes two so you can experiment with chaotic cross modulation etc.
At the heart is the Z-1 Accumulating Adder (mixer with FB). A pair of compare modules monitor the input (top left) and the output of the accumulator and along with a mixer and NAND gate, provide -1,0,1 depending on the input being less, equal, greater. With scaling of the -1 and 1, rise and fall times can be set and modulated. Unlike the original, these can be individually modulated. Like the original, a little self modulation can bend the linear line segments. Also, a trigger in mode provides for use as an AD envelope (unlikely you would use it as such for the G2 though) and a switch provides end of cycle retrigger for continuous LF or AF oscillation. I guess chaining the two so that the end of cycle B triggers A might also be interesting, 4 independently controllable waveform slopes. Probably a lot of experimenting required.

Of cause the Serge is a wonderfully engineered piece of gear and I would love to own a real system if I had the money and space.
