The spectrum analyzer will give you a rough idea what the frequency contents of signal is.

It is sweeping a frequency range from about 50 Hz to about 16 or so kHz, rather slowly, measures the level there
and records it as a step into a note sequencer.

The white noise mod turned out be coulored, so I mixed some RndClock in to give it a more balanced frequency contents.

There is also an 8 sample delay with a mixing apparatus to give an universal 8-tap filterbank (feedback for resonance included).

The samplerate is reduced to 48 kHz here, btw.

By feeding the noise (or a sweeping sine, see demo) into this, you can have a look at the resulting spectrum.

Well, it´s not a real replacement for some nice present from
clavia, and also quite DSP-expensive, but may be
you can bridge some time with it until that happy day... Smile

Have fun,

Cool !

So now we'll just have to wait for the 128 step sequencer module :)

I stretched the Y-Resolution also with a second row of sequencers.
Seems to be more usable for the intended purpose, now.

Sweeping the fixed-filterbank with a sine works better than
feeding with white noise, the levels for each band are more stable than.

I turned down the sweeping speed though, because of better
resolution in the low frequencies. Tradeoff.

Do you know how to track the NordFilter freq mod with an osc exactly?
The pitch inputs are not compatible for some reason.
Also with FM input I had no luck.

For sweeping I use a ClassicFilter in selv-oscillation by now (more even
than the NF), but the very low and higher freq are down in level there,
too. Tried to extend the range with some eq-ing.

Or may be using some diy filter / sine-osc ?

Do you know something?
