Man, that is sweet! If I had that running on a Klee, I'd write those pot settings down and put them in my "golden" file
Thanks for sharing that.
Cheers,

Cheers fella, fantastic way to create or at least encourage machines to create anyway.
I have done a modified version of this patch and got it sounding much sweeter, in my opinion. If you like I could record you a sample of that one, if you don't have a G2?

Yes, please! I have no G-2, so that would be really nice.
Spent the day listening to your composition along with some others in constant rotation while I did some work. It blended in with the selection perfectly!
Cheers,

Ross, I much prefer this last mp3 to the previous one. The balance between the melody and the drums is improved, IMHO. Very nice.
BTW, this kind of cross-influence between the DIY and G2 people is just great to see. It's why we want electro-music.com to be a broad as possible. It's true, the forum is getting so big and complex that it's sometimes hard to manage, but we've got some ideas on how to improve that.
Back to the topic. Scott, the note quantizer on the G2 comes in very nicely on something like the Klee. _________________ --Howard

That is just beautiful. Thank you for uploading it, I know what I'm gonna loop today at work
You're right, Mosc, in fact, the G2 was actually a sort of tool in developing at least a part of the Klee - the Invert B function came straight from Jan, who'd himself rigged it up in the G2.
I wonder how well the Klee will play with quantizers, or something such as the Miniwave? Hope it works this well!
Thanks again, iPassenger, fantastic stuff.
Cheers,

Again thanks for your comments, I do think it is my best patch, so far on the G2, particularly in terms of complete-ness.
I agree re:balance of sounds, the drums from the MD on the first sample had been produced for something else and had been shoe horned in (cos i wanted to get it recorded), the second recording contains sounds i built for the klee-y machine.
Drifting OT: I often find there is one area that presets (ones created by yourself or genuine presets) really fail to satisfy and thats the rhythm section. Gotta be fresh everytime. Mind i do have a generalised preset allergy.
Totally agree on the blending of concepts (DIY/G2) too, though i must admit that some of the chip number referencing etc scares me off a little. From now on I am just going to ask tho and sod embarrasment.
I did actually do a bit of electronics at college but it really made no sense to me at all. _________________ iP (Ross)
