Hello everyone,

New tot this forum and proud owner of a Nord electro 2. Really beautiful instrument, but there is something i don't understand.

Recently bought a swell pedal / volume pedal. But it would be nice also to use it for the piano and other sounds as well. Not only the organ sounds. The manual says it can only be used with the organ sounds. But is there a way i can use the pedal for all the sounds?

Does the Nord electro 3 support this?

I hope someone can help me.

greetings from Bobby!

Goeiedag en welcome spons,

The only way is to do it by Midi.
The Electro sends and receives Midi on CC# 11.
So you can route this data by using something which is able do perform this, like the Midi In/Out of the NordModular G2 (not the Demo version) or some special software on the computer. I use MidiMod to perform this trick, but I sure there will be more software to handle this.
See http://www.iaf.nl/Users/BlueHell/html/software/software-midimod.htm
It's Windows only.
If you know how it works, you are able to control every parameter by the Control Pedal, like the gain of the Piano.

Attached is an example how the Ctrl Pedal controls the Presence of the Piano (enable this) and Chorus 2 (select and enable)

Using the G2 you can do more using the Morph, which can be set to a range in which the parameter is changed: nice to control the draw bars (The Stage has this feature already build in)

Wout
