Apple has its best chance in years to make a dent in the business market

Japan's Aozora Bank Ltd. is planning to do something once unheard of in the business world: switch nearly all of its 2,300 desktop personal computers to Apple Computer Inc.'s Macintosh computers.
Most companies use PCs that run on some version of Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system. But in a multi-year effort to replace its outdated mishmash of computers -- most running older versions of Windows -- Aozora is forsaking the standard PC.

Nope. I am still running tenpointtwopointeight. I have bunged a few of the holes, but who's to say if I have done good? Not Apple at least. Erm. Why haven't they released any patches for my OS? I am not downgrading to OS 9.4.4 (or what ever they are peddling at the moment).
I must say that I am royally peed about the security thing at the moment; I haven't the cash, nor the inclination to cough up for Tiger. What do I do in the meantime?
And you, as network security guy for the bank, do you upgrade to Leopard, Ocelot, Caracal, Serval, Russian Blue, Persian, Tabby, Puss... Just to keep in the loop? The problem is in the base layer, not the poop the smear on top.

As long as they donate the old PCs to the poor people who can't afford a Mac and would be happy with a real computer instead, I'm all for it!
