I'm new to synth programming and I need to get a sound on my Nord Stage that resembles the Van Halen song Jump, I think he uses an Oberheim.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I should proceed?

Hey man,

I'm really busy but when I have a second, I'll make the patch for you and try to post it up here.

The quick thing to try is to get a nice fat sawtooth style brass sound, and layer it with itself via the panel A and B switches. Add some detune, play with the filter envelope and the amp envelope a bit and you're almost there. Actually, because of the detune feature, you might not need to layer it with itself at all!
