I'm curious to know how Lead, Rack and Wave users are using their Nords - as a stand alone instrument or with a sequencer? And how do you have it routed?

The reason I ask is that up until very recently I was using the 4 independent outputs on my NR2X for each channel, therefore having four seperate voices which I could treat individually, running into the M-Audio Delta 1010LT I had on my desktop.

Now I've downsized to a laptop setup with a 2-input Focusrite interface, I'll either be tracking individual voices a lot more, or combining them into the stereo output.

Also, what sequencer are you using, and what challenges do you have with it? I'm using Cubase 4.5 on a PC. I also have Propellerhead Record 1.5 (which I much prefer), but until they introduce MIDI out, I have no way of using my 2X with it! I find Cubase very annoying, too much technical work getting it set up right!

Stand alone,,,
A gig rack containing a Lead2 and a Rack1, the later uses the Audio in of a Modular Rack which is placed on top of the lead.
I mostly use the arpeggiator of the Lead2 and always Performances in both leads, so PCMCIA cards are important.
