Hi all.
My question is:
My stuff is Focusrite Saffire, Nord Modular G2 Engine and Logic Pro. Axiom 61… So… I try to explain what I can’t do… I really look for some info but I can’t find about that.

My midi setup is here:

For example, I have a project in Logic

And 4 midi channels(for midi effects and changing patches) and 4 external instrument channels (Nord Modular G2 external midi device, for adding effects).

When I add an effect to 1 of external instrument channels (reverb or flanger or delay etc…), it works for all external instruments channels but I add it to the ONLY one external instrument channel… So, for example if I want to add:
1 channel – only reverb
2 channel – only distortion
3 channel – only flanger
4 channel – only delay
When I play, for example first channel (reverb) – I hear all effects I added to 4 external instruments. Not only reverb, but flanger and etc… I hope you understand. When I play software instruments – it’s OK, but not for my external device…
So all I want is to add effects to channels I choose…
I’ll be very happy if someone helps me.
Thank you.

I assume you have also done the following:
. Connect all 4 physical outputs on G2 to physical inputs on Saffire.
. In Saffire MixControl setup 4 mono inputs to match physical inputs on hardware.
. In Logic external instrument, for each track set the input to be the appropriate Saffire input.
. Set G2 slot 1-4 outputs to 1L, 1R, 2L, 2R respectively.

I decided to buy a new sound card with more than 4 inputs and could you advice any?
I am interested in soundcard for about 500 Euro to connect all 4 Nord G2 outputs to 4 soundcard inputs, so I need many inputs and stability.

Now I think about this http://focusrite.com/products/audio_interfaces/saffire_pro_40/overview/, but if you know something better, I would take a look at it. Thank you.
