So I designed a super simple two opamp attack release envelope generator.
But I faced a problem: The release diode next to the 220E resistor will hinder the output from going to 0 volt (hence the 1M resistor parallel with the 22uF capacitor) that's why these two diodes should be Ge or Schottky type with the lowest Vf possible, this goes NOT for the diode on the left hand side over the opamp!.
The switch is substitute for a trigger or gate input, this AR-EG is retriggerable when in Release phase.
The opamps are single supply 0 - 5volt.
Attack time is between 35mS and 8.6Sec with values shown.
This is just a simulation, I will put it on breadboard this weekend, maybe the problem isn't such a big issue after all... Rolling Eyes

Question: Is there an easy way to have the output going fully to gnd potential?

The problem now is at the attack side: when you increase the attack potmeter to max, the attack ramp will start after 218 msec. Sad
