Think of selling G2 rack and Nordlead 2 keyboard to buy a G2 modular keyboard in the UK.

Is it much easier to use the keyboard version to the rack version to change patch/preset and can you assign knobs, or are they fixed?

You would be amazed at the number of ways you can assign knobs. And patch selection is really easy.

It's pretty easy to assign buttons to change the patch on the engine, particularly if you've got a controller that has its own learn function.

I used to have my behringer BCR2000 setup so that one button was +1 and another -1 in the list of stored patches.

Thanks guys.

Ye im sick of assigning controllers, and keyboards etc. I just want to be able to play it, select my presets, assign nobs, and get creative again, without having to look at laptop screen for patches etc.

Im not really a keyboard player, so i think the standard sized one will do me, altho i noticed its an octave smaller than the nordlead.

Do the patches remember the knob assignments?
