I'd like to mod this envelope generator (from the MS20) so that I can retrigger it, so that it would work like on this picture:

Links don't work for me!

Can you use an inverting op amp so that when the decay falls below a set point (say 0.5v) it shoots a positive pulse through a cap to retrigger?

I'm sorry for the links, please check now, I fixed them.

I think your suggestion works if I'd want to loop the envelope, but what I want is to retrigger it with a trigger input, just like shown in the first picture

Well, that schematic doesn't seem to have a gate input, just the trigger, so can you AND your Gates and triggers together then send the ANDed output to the trigger input?
