Big lag on NL3 - Is this normal?

This is my first synth so i hope that someone can help me out with a big problem. i have a macpro with a alesis io24 as a audio interface and logic studio as my DAW. The lead 3 is connected to my alesis with midi and whenever i press a key on the nord i can see the MIDI led flash but sound comes out afew seconds later. Even when i put notes in the piano roll sound lags as well.

Any ideas???

The same happens on the headphone connected in the NordLead output?
Could there be a Midi Echo in the soft sequencer?
