hello!

I checked through ebay and bumped in this memory card(http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170231327634&_trksid=p2759.l1259) that claims i t works with nord lead 1,2, so I suppose it could work wih my nord rack2. Anyone knows something more?

why the <?> are they so expensive.... they are the last ones in stock, not enough buyers...

how many patches can you save on one card... and one day they run out off battery power... is it replaceable or is than over and out and must buy a new one.
I know you can backup with midi...but a rather.
I think it is also a shame that there is now way to override the presets Confused
sands i dont like using them.... Evil or Very Mad

what about this website?
http://www.amtron.com/sram.htm

couldnt i get a cheaper card for like $56.99??
it is compatible with the nord lead 2 and is even rechargeable, so no worries about replacing some almost obsolete memory card.

Has anyone bought one of these cards?

I would like to get a card so that I could write to it for live use and increase the amount of useable own grown sounds of my NR2.

Any other sites with useable PCMCIA cards?

By now i am a proud owner of a 12 voice nr1 with the sound library card nr:1 Cool and would like to know how i could easily backup the card so i could use it to store my own patches? if i do a full dump it only dumps the internal sounds.

is there a easy way to do this or do i have to bake a cake and meanwhile dump the card patches patch by patch? Wink

thanks

Also when you scroll the the card bank locations? BTW it's much easier to dump into a software sequencer, like CuBase or another.

On http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/021_Patches/
you can find all Programs which are on the cards. 0100 to 1200 are the 4 cards. Don't worry if it says NordLead2, because these are the same as the NordLead1 Programs... There are no factory Programs using the RingModulator or the Distortion Very Happy

I found am original Clavia Nord 2 memory card, so everything can now be saved both patch and performance wise.

Loving my Nord 2 Rack as it is a very simple synth to operate and get useable sounds out of.

Might try and find me an expanded version of the original now, so that I can compare and contrast the two.
