problem with OS

Hi all -- My Nord Electro 2 gave me an "rd" error message. I contacted Nord support and was told that my OS was dead, and that I should download the new upgrade. I tried to do this, but then got a message saying "The bootloader has not restarted; turn Nord off/on and try again." But that didn't help. This time the Nord support guy said, "Sounds like we have a main board failure. I would recommend taking this into a service center for diagnosis and repair."

Trouble is, I'm located nowhere near a service center. So I thought I'd ask this forum whether anyone else has experienced this problem, and whether there's anything else to try short of driving many hours to the service center.

I got some kind of same problem. My nord stage wont start op freezes with the dialog starting up os. I will go to a service center monday. and ill let you know what happen.
