Thus far, I've yet to receive the Cwejman ADSR that I paid for. It appears to have been sent by regular post and thus has no tracking number
Will keep this thread updated. |

No. The module never made it to me and I'm out 410€.
Paypal just decided in my favor on this one but it is likely that I won't see any money from the seller.
The ironic part is that he originally insisted on a wire transfer only. I then offered him a bit of extra money to go with Paypal as wire transfers offer zero recourse. Paypal seems to offer almost zero.
It was claimed to have been sent to me and when the unit didn't show, the seller emailed me a scan of a receipt from the Deutsche Post showing a total of 3€ spent on a mailing of something. I find that being cheap and not using traceable and/or insured shipping on a 410€ item to be negligent in the extreme. He even went so far as to demand of me "How do I know you don't actually have the module and are still filing a claim?" Basically, a way in order to justify hanging on to the money even after not fulfilling his side of the arrangement. The seller would know if I actually had the module if traceable shipping was used.
The story he gave me from Deutsche Post and my own direct communications with Deutsche Post were slightly different, but I'll chalk that up to our communicating in English and not German.
Whether or not his intentions were good to begin with is beside the point. Just know that should things go wrong, he won't make good on the deal & will turn accusatory. I hesitated to post anything here since it will probably insure that I never get my money back. People tend to look for excuses to justify behavior and I'm basically giving him one by even mentioning this on a forum. Last edited by Kent on Sat Dec 04, 2010 3:51 pm; edited 2 times in total |

A factual public post, like the one you wrote, has helped resolve issues here in the past, hope it will work out well for you too. _________________ Jan

Impossible!
The cheapest way is a Maxibrief International (Large Letter International):
lenght + width + height = not more than 600 millimeter which costs:
up to 500 gram = 4,50€
up to 1000 gram = 6,00€.
To send it registrated it would have cost 2,05€ more only!

Yes that's a real drag, but perhaps there is a lesson for everyone to be learnt here; only buy from trusted forum members, with more than 100 or so posts and ones who upload photos, preferably where you can see other modules included for sale in the same photo?
happy new year everyone. (And Kent, I hope you at least see something, too next year). _________________ ACHTUNG!
