Megaphone bend |
 |
|
I am wondering what anyone may know about bending megaphones. Ever seen, heard, smelled, or maybe even bent one yourself?
I'm not talking about a toy megaphone. What I have is an actual megaphone and not a voice changer.
I just wanted to see if there was any point to doing it before I possibly wreck it. |

I doubt there is much bending you can do it with. The only things I'd suggest is adding an external input so you can use it as an amp with a guitar or something. Maybe add a feedback loop? If you're looking for glitches and pitch bending, stick with toys or voice changers. _________________ Youtube!

An external input would be pretty awesome if you're a guitar player or even want something to play bentstruments through! |

You might as well wreck it. What good is an un-bent megaphone anyways. I think you could definately bend it... I recommend doing the audio 1/4" jack output first, and a switch for the megaphone speaker on/off though because you will just erode your hearing trying to bend that think without it. Maybe circuit bend a fire alarm and hook it up to the megaphone... and make it so it doesn't turn off... some psyops... you could, always circuit bend your town's tornado siren also. |

bending input places... |

Hi,
How can I bend regular megaphone...
Where should I put my 6,35' jack input ?
Should I put it just where the microphone is plugged? how about the impedance if I want to use it with a boss DD7 pedal?
"Input Impedance
1 M ohm
Nominal Output Level
-20 dBu
Output Impedance
1 k ohm
Recommended Load Impedance
10 ohms or greater"
Can I still use the megaphone mic to go in the DD7 and then to the megaphone?
In case I put a little analog synth on the input, is it possible to create a switch to bypass it going back to the traditionnal mic?
Thanks a lot for your reply,
a newbie geek that will try anything, but not destroying 10 of them before getting something |
