I am experimenting with sound yo! And I from my experiments I have decided that pickupin some hums will make a cool organ.

Google Hammond tonewheel organs - they do what you are talking. Bulidng one of those would be an interesting DIY challenge

Something simple? Something that lets you control lots of pitches with knobs? cool organ sounds (maybe) ?

hop on over to the lunetta forum and read up on the 40106 chip.

If wired correctly you can obtain 6 different oscillators to make chords and drones. bam!
