Hi Guys,

I have all my equipment going to one socket.

Everything is individually turned off before I switch the socket off.

Sometime when I switch the main socket on the fuse box trips.

Is there anything available that will gradually power on the sockets with a small timed wait between each socket?

Cheers

Andy

I know Furman has a few power filters/sequencers such as this one:

http://furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=PS-8R_II

Sequencing
The PS-8R II Power Conditioner/Sequencers is capable of powering up a rack full of equipment in a 3-step delayed sequence. The sequence is reversed for power-down. The sequence can be initiated with either momentary or maintained switches, locally or remotely. A duplex outlet is provided for each delay step. One or more Furman PS-8R II’s may be installed in remote locations and operated via low-voltage wiring. The PS-8R II includes a rear mounted BNC jack which accepts any standard (12VAC, 0.5A) gooseneck lamp for rear rack illumination, as well as a front panel switch which controls the gooseneck’s operation

And here I thought you Brits had balanced power straight from the mains, unlike us grounded folks in the US.

That's a real pain. Did Furman provide a solution?

What all is attached to this outlet? I have an insane amount of gear on the same 15amp circuit and never trip it. Are there many fans or motors?

If the fuse only trips during start up, then you can try a time delay fuse. They are intended for use with things that require a bit more current during start up, like electric motors.

No fans or motors.

Quite a bit of gear though. I'm going to wire up this Furman delayed power thingy over the weekend, hopefully that will stop the problem.
