Re: G2 and blinds
Dear Gen,
It's been a long time. I hope this mail finds you well and in good health.
I am the Blind guy you once helped by making your editor compatible with the Jaws screen reader, do you remember ? I just changed to a new computer and I have to reinstall your G2 editor, which has worked very well for me, but I wonder if your editor can be installed under Windows 7 64 bits.
The version I have is nmg2editor_bin_0.24.
Thanks for helping if you can.
Kind regards,

Jean-Philippe

Hello Jean-Philippe,

I'm glad to hear the editor was of good use to you! Yes, you can run the editor on Windows 64 bits, only first you have to install the 64 bit drivers of Clavia and of LibUSB.

For LibUSB there are also different drivers for Intel or AMD based machines.

The Clavia 64 bits driver you can find here: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/legacy/nord-modular-g2

Instructions how to install LibUSB you can find on my help page : http://www.bverhue.nl/G2EditorHelp/NMG2_Open_source_editor_help.html#mozTocId298188

Hope this helps
Bruno

Dear Brunov,
this is great.
I can see two links for two different editors, which one should I use as far as screen reader accessibility is concerned? The old one or the new one?
Best,
JPR

Jean-Philippe

Use the old one.
